SingUp4 Scotland
Welcome
My name is Johnny Collington and through my love of playing the guitar and singing. I play at Care Homes, Day Care Centres and Respite Homes and I enjoy performing and engaging with everyone. I sing mainly Scottish and Country songs and invite everyone to join in with our sing-a-long too.

About me
From just singing with my Dad, I began sharing our sessions with other residents and these quickly turned into social events where everyone joined in. It was fantastic to see their joy and personal connections with my music and I decided to take this further and now play at a variety of other Care Homes and Day Care Centres.
Where possible, I include my brother Craig in a wee duo we’ve called ‘The Missionaires’, named after the Assisted Living Centre where Craig lives. We have complied a song book of over 60 songs and can easily put a show together from 30 – 60 minutes.

What I Do
If you work for a Care Homes, Day Care Centres and Respite Homes and are interested in speaking with me about coming along to perform please see SingUp4_Care Homes & Day Centres for more information. I do not charge to play. I enjoy bringing people together for a fun session of music and singing. I love it!
I also support Burns Suppers by performing some of the Bard’s best-known songs, with the aim of encouraging audience participation. I can also support St Andrews Day/Night celebrations, singing a selection of Scottish classics. See SingUp4_Burns and St Andrews for more information.

Burns Suppers and St Andrews Celebrations
Thinking of adding something a wee bit different to your traditional Burns Supper?
How about introducing your guests to a sing-a-long version of ‘Green Grow the Rashes’, or singing all 5 verses of ‘Auld Lang Syne’ or sitting back and enjoying ‘Ae Fond Kiss’. Singing along to some of the Bard’s greatest songs will enhance any typical Burns Supper and the usual toasts.
Are you looking to arrange a St Andrews lunch or dinner celebration? I can come along and perform a short set showcasing some of the classics from Scotland, such as ‘Loch Lomond’, ‘Caledonia’, ‘Scotland the Brave’, ‘500 Miles’, to name but a few.
Get in touch to discuss your ideas and where I can help you make your Burns and/or St Andrews event even better.
Contact Us
I have chosen to support and fundraise for Alzheimer Scotland, the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland, as I do not charge to perform.
