Welcome & Introduction
My name is Johnny Collington and I perform my well-loved Scottish songs across Care Homes and Day Centres, bringing the magic of musical memories to my audiences – who love singing along.
My Dad was diagnosed with dementia when he was 96 and what I found amazing was how the music and singing old songs together, connected us, right through to his final days.
Fringe Show Delivered
I’ve now delivered my first ever Fringe show, performing my Sing-a-Long Scotland Song Book to over 330 people across 8 shows, raising much needed funds for Alzheimer Scotland and LifeCare in Stockbridge, Edinburgh.
We had people from the US, Germany, Hong Kong and Brazil, as well as a wide range of wonderful people from Scotland, England, Ireland and Wales. The youngest person to come and see me was 15 months old and the oldest was 100!

In May 2026, I was nominated by Clare Adamson MSP and recognised by the Scottish Parliament for my work in bringing music to support people living with dementia.

Burns Suppers and St Andrews Celebrations
Thinking of adding something a wee bit different to your traditional Burns Supper?
How about introducing your guests to a sing-a-long version of ‘Green Grow the Rashes’, or singing all 5 verses of ‘Auld Lang Syne’ or sitting back and enjoying ‘Ae Fond Kiss’. Singing along to some of the Bard’s greatest songs will enhance any typical Burns Supper and the usual toasts.
Are you looking to arrange a St Andrews lunch or dinner celebration? I can come along and perform a short set showcasing some of the classics from Scotland, such as ‘Loch Lomond’, ‘Caledonia’, ‘Scotland the Brave’, ‘500 Miles’, to name but a few.

I have chosen to support and fundraise for Alzheimer Scotland, the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland.

“For over 85 years, LifeCare has been transforming the lives of older people across Edinburgh. Founded in 1941—before the NHS—we were established to tackle loneliness and isolation, challenges as urgent today as they were then. Last year we supported 1,140 older people and unpaid carers.
We were delighted to have Johnny perform his Fringe show at our centre in Stockbridge. Johnny has been playing his guitar and singing songs for our clients at our Day Club for a while now, and it was magical to see him share the joy of community singing with a much wider audience over the 8 days he performed.
